About us.

CZAR was established in 2000 In Hong Kong by Jonathan Zeal and Peter Rolston with a focus on leadership communication coaching. The company operates throughout the Asia Pacific region, and since 2008, in the Middle East.
The CZAR approach is non-prescriptive, practical and highly experiential and is designed to bring out the best in every participant.

Why Leadership Communication?

CZAR defines a leader as anyone who can influence change and make things happen.

An ability to communicate is the fundamental distinction between a proficient manager and an inspirational leader. Leaders who communicate effectively —in good times as well as bad— can improve performance, get results, and create successful enterprises.

Each CZAR leadership communication programme is conducted by a CZAR principal and benefits from that individual’s many years of relevant experience.

The Principals

Peter has specialized in the area of leadership communications since 1992, helping individuals and the organizations they work for to communicate with whatever they perceive to be an audience.

His career has included roles as a main news anchor with the SKY, ITN and CNN television networks.

He was also a regional director for JWT with responsibility for looking after the training needs of 4,000 people in 26 offices stretching from Bombay to Auckland.

Jonathan has more than 20 years experience in communications consulting, both as a practitioner and in the senior management of international public relations groups.

During his career he has been the brand guardian of several global organizations, provided media and crisis communications coaching and counsel to numerous senior management teams, and helped companies address business continuity issues ranging from terrorism and corporate takeover to avian influenza and bankruptcy.
